Hello,

I have the Asus F2 A85-M Pro motherboard. This is my first time building a computer. It came with a I/O Q shield but I'm confused as to which way I need to install it. Do I install it with the padded side on the outside of the case or do I install it with the hard surface (has words to indicate which port is which) to the outside?

the words have to be on the outside of the case, so you can see them

Oh ok I see. Do I take off the padding or leave it on (facing towards mobo)? It's like a silver plastic/paper feeling with foam padding under neath it.

Could you explain to me why? Because it really looks like its not supposed to come off. And nothing in the manual states to take anything off either. I don't know what that padding is called.

You leave the back side padding material on.
Leave it the way it is.

So just to be clear, I install the Q shield with the words facing outside and the side with the padding facing inside? And not to take off the padding?
