So i have a Cooler Master HAF X case and the rest is down below. I would like to make sure my fans are set up for maximum airflow and cooling. Remember, i do have the place up top to put fans. Please go for effectiveness and quietness, not try to put all fans on. Also please note if they should be intake or outake.

Here are the fans i have:
-1x 230mm Fan which will stay at front.
-1x 200mm Red LED which will stay on the side
-2x 200mm standard fans
-2x 120mm fans (came with h100i water cooling
-2x SP120 performance edition which will stay on radiator
-1x 140mm red LED fan which will more than likely stay on the rear side.
-1x 140mm standard fan

Thanks everyone!

start with a minimum and add them as needed.. a Rule of thumb is to have more intakes than exhausts.. it creates a positive pressure inside the case reducing dust and always pushing hot air out. remember heat rises so exhaust fans on top and back.. intake front and bottom if possible.

Too many fans! Do you really need them all! :) Anyhow follow this rule for effectiveness:

Front fan(s) in Push configuration i.e throwing the fresh air inside the fan.
Side fan in Push configuration i.e throwing the fresh air inside the fan (Side fan is not necessary)
Back fan in pull configuration i.e throwing the hot air outside of the fan.
Top fan(s) in pull configuration i.e throwing the hot air outside of the fan.

In your case 230mm fan in the front in Push.
200mm fan on the side in Push.
2 120mm fans under the rad in Push.
If you require then and only then two 120mm fans over the rad in Pull.
140mm fan in Pull on the backside or rear side.

lol you can always have too many fans.. i dont want to sit next to a hair dryer while i play games... cooling can be achieved w/o overkill.. use a temp gauge with minimal fans.. add as needed.

orrrr too many fans.. period... its all about your acceptable sound levels my good man. Add as many as you'd like. when i build my systems.. and i have built many.. i like them to be silent but still able to provide more than enough cooling.

Dear, should you have more questions, pl let me know.

thanks everyone i actually ended up attaching the vga airduct which pulls from the front and pushes out towards back and unplugged the 2x 200mm fans at top because they were loud (came with case) and didnt help that much

Sounds like bad fans, the big ones are actually supposed to be quieter because they dont have to spin as fast to move the same air.

Large size fans are usually helpful. This is wrong to assume that because they are large in size they will produce more noise. Rather because of their size, they can be made rotated at lower rate while producing enough air to circulate. Hence they are more beneficial. Anyhow suit yourself with what works better for you.

I've just ordered 6 more SP/AP 120mm though :)
