Windows won't boot up and the System Recovery Options menu is completely unresponsive

I just installed new RAM last night and was able to boot up the Computer with zero problems.

Today, however, it simply refuses to boot into Windows, and instead sends me to the "System Recovery Options" menu each time I boot up. The problem is, the menu itself is totally unresponsive to either my mouse or my keyboard. I simply can't do anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as my Computer has been out of action for the last few weeks.

Just tried to boot in Safe mode. The computer froze up in the process.

I rebooted and click "last working configuration" which got as far as the Windows logo before crashing. The system then began to check the consistency of my hard drive for errors, which it is still doing at the moment.

Will update.

Ok then. If that doesn't work out, then the only option that I have for you is to fully re-install the hard drive. That should most likely solve your problems.
Hope that helps
