I installed Cute PDF and along with it, the ASK toolbar installed.

While I have uninstalled everything related to that event, my wireless modem constantly disconnects. Prior to the Cute PDF (and ASK) installation, I never had a problem. Unfortunately in order to load the Cute PDF app which I needed to create 1099's for my consulting business, I had to turn off my Kaspersky security.

The research I did suggested that ASK is the culprit, allowing multiple apps to load along with it's installation which sometimes contained malware viruses.

I am somewhat hesitant about running any additional software fixes, not knowing if I can trust that no additional problems would be created.

Can anyone help?
Thanks!

Wow!

Did you even read my issue?

1) In my 1st sentence, I state that I have uninstalled everything related to the event in which the malware was loaded.

2) In my 3rd sentence, I mention that I had to install Cute PDF in order to create the 1099's I was emailing to my consultants. If I had known it would have created the plethora of problems that it did, I wouldn't have installed, but hindsight is always 20/20.

If you have any additional insights, please share.

Sorry for my mistakes. What I would like to ask then is that do you trust Cutepdf program?
If Kaspersky antivirus has a problem with Cutepdf (or what it came with) i would find cutepdf itself suspicious.
Don't you think so?
