Is Overclocking an i5-4670k 3.4GHz worth it?

It all depends on what you want to do with it. If you can run things fine at stock voltages then it's not necessary.

It's plenty fast at stock for that. You wouldn't see much if any difference in games (possibly faster loading times) but no real performance gains.

Some CPU intensive games you may notice a difference. GPU intensive games not so much, and definitely not in general browsing/etc. Do you have a stock cooler or an aftermarket? If you're stock then I wouldn't look at overclocking at all. If you're aftermarket then have at it. There are several guides around. No reason not to grab a free performance boost, provided you have good cooling!
