It's a bit unbalanced. You're spending a lot on the SSD and sound card and not enough on the GPU if this a gaming system. If you post in the format from the *How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice* sticky we can come up with a build optimized to your intended use and budget.

You are most likely going to need 8GB of RAM to play modern games so I would reccomend a kit that is between $65-$80

Newegg.com has Ram on sale all the time so i wouldnt spend more than $80 on the RAM. MAKE SURE YOU GET AT LEAST 8GB

For storage, i would go:

1TB WD Black HDD - Store game libraries on this drive, install everything without worrying about space.
+
120GB SSDNow SSD - Put your OS on this drive, will help your pc startup and shutdown alot, install most played games.

You'll run out of space VERY fast on 240GB only.
Having a SSD with OS + HDD will take the OS workload off the HDD making it faster.

im running a very slow HDD + 128GB ssd, with games on the slow hdd, and its loading pretty fast. I never feel stuck on the loading screen.

and the most important thing for this 1TB+120GB storage solution, it should cost the same, maybe a bit less than one 240GB SSD.

Here's some other thoughts:

-I don't know how important sound is for you, but you're spending a big lump of money on something the integrated sound could do a decent job at.

-I would propably spend a bit to get 8gb

So if I double the ram that's fine, I was going to buy a hdd after the initial build but I might halve the sdd and get a hdd aswell. Also I'm going to attempt to use my tv as the output device so how important is the sound card?

I think using the tv makes the sound card obsolete. You're probably going to plug a hdmi cable from the gpu to the tv, which carries both sound & picture.

You should really remove the sound card then.

The 660 is a very good option.

if you are looking to save money, i would recommend a gtx 750ti @$150ish

If you can afford it i would try and go to a gtx 760 at $250 or better yet a gtx 770 at $350 its a big price jump but the 770 is a great card. I have it and am able to run any game i've played at max no problem

Halve the SSD and get at least a 1TB HDD. Put the operating system on the SSD and everything else on the HDD.
