New GPU but having issues installing..

I just bought a EVGA GeForce GTX 760 SC 2GB. I know 100% that it is compatible with my motherboard. My computer had integrated graphics before but I uninstalled the drivers for it. I have the 760 all hooked and running but it isn't giving out a picture but when I connect the DVI to my mobo there is a picture.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, it's plugged in. The fans run on the 760 and I get stuck on "press esc for startup menu.'

BTW I currently have A10 5700 APU with integrated graphics if that helps.

Alright, try disabling the onboard graphics in the BIOS and plug directly into the card.

I am just upgrading my current HP P7-1240 atm. I have a EVGA 650W http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009YC3DKY/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and my MOBO is MSI MS-7778. It has one PCIe x16 slot and it is on the compatiblity list for the 760.

I've been in the bios and I can't seem to located on to boot from my PCIe slot. Everytime I plug my 760 in and attach the monitor to it I get stuck at 'press esc for startup menu.' and esc doesn't do anything. I have Windows 7, btw.

I've tried that in the device manager. I've disabled and didn't work then I tried uninstalling the onboard graphics and still not working correctly.

Don't uninstall onboard graphics. You never want to uninstall it. Try to reinstall the drivers and then press disable in device manager.

I've never had this problem before. I just installed a GTX 650 ti on my friends computer that is similar to mine, except his is windows 8 and mines windows 7.

After you disable your onboard graphics WITHOUT uninstalling it, then restart the PC. Tell me how that goes.

Start up in safe mode and go to device manager, and look for the integrated graphics name. Then right click it and disable. Restart normally plugged into the graphics card.

Go into safe mode, device manager, disable the integrated graphics. Then install the new graphics card and start up the system see how that goes

Start it up in safe mode. Go to computer, right click it, press device manager, go to Radeon 8670D or whatever it is on that chip, install new GPU, and start up. That should be good.

If its not passing POST then device manager / drivers have nothing to do with it.

Can you test the card in another machine?

No I don't have snot system to try it in. I've done what everyone suggested but still stuck on HP "press the Esc key for startup menu".
