I installed battlefield 3 today and I noticed my fps is insanely low for my rig. 30-40 fps constant and dips to 20's in 64 player servers. In BF4, it runs constant 60's even on 64 player servers. I have the latest nvidia drivers and repaired installation. I checked my CPU usage during game and it's at mid 60's.

Please help?

OS: Windows 8.1 64bit
Rig:
AMD FX 6300
Hyper 212 Evo
ASRock 960GM/U3S3
GTX 770 2gb
Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower
Rosewill RP600V2-S-SL 600W
G.SKILL Value Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
WD Blue 1 TB HD

Turned off AA, even changed to all Low and it's the same thing.

Drivers are up to date.

A lot of the time games and programs (or windows) can actually cap the amount of cores that can be used which means the cpu cant reach its full potential and could bottleneck the GPU. To fix this you needs to change the core parking in the registry. I saw many videos about doing thia to fix BF4. Type into youtube 'jayztwocents bf4 fix' as i know this guy did a video which could help

I am having this issue as well. Loads fine, end of round screens are fine but game is like 4 fps. BF4 runs fine. My current set-up ran bf3 just fine a month ago.

Update: I realize it's probably because of my CPU. BF3 is 32 bit whereas BF4 is 64, taking advantage of hyperthreading as BF3 is only counting the actual cores (3 actual cores).

Plus, its F2P now so I don't bother playing it anymore. I assume running on older CPU's and Win7 is your best bet to ya'll having the same problem.
