how to turn off gpu on a laptop?

I want to temporarily turn off my gpu so I can test the performance of my intel integrated graphics... is there a way to do that?


i have asus n53sv laptop and nvidia gt540m gpu

Follow the instruction below:
Right click My Computer-> Left Click Device Manager -> Expand Display Adapters-> Double Left Click on your Graphics Card-> Click Driver then Disable.
