Can I upgrade my system to a 64 bit system?

I want to upgrade my system. I have Windows 7 Professional 32 bit, I want a 64 bit system to run more RAM, maybe I should buy a new one but I have:
MOBO: Gigabyte P35-S3L
RAM: 4 GB DDR2 800
CPU: Intel Pentium D 915

Can it be a 64 bit system?

Its time to build a new system all together adding more ram with that bad of a processor and being that its really bad ram to start with 800mhz.... it wouldnt show any sugnifficant preformance gains. The price of the DDr2 ram is way higher then the price of ddr3 aswell which makes it even less worth it to upgrade the ram amount. Save up if you cant afford it even the cheapest possble parts a 400$ computer would outpreform this computer
