I'm on a real budget and can only get an apu.
Which of these would be the best for gaming?

Here goes:
AMD A10-7850K 3.70GHz Quad-Core
AMD A10-7700K 3.40GHz Quad-Core
AMD A10-6800K 4.10GHz Quad-Core
AMD A10-6700 3.70GHz Quad-Core
AMD A8-6600K 3.90GHz Quad-Core
AMD A6-6400K 3.90GHz Dual-Core

Why can you only get an APU? There are dedicated CPU and GPU options that are definitely better than the 7850k, which is the best on your list.

If you're building a little Lan ITX box or Micro Box that's the only real reason to build around the A10-7850K otherwise I'd probably try to save up for an FX 6350 and an R7 260X...

Thank you for the link but I guess its a better idea to save up for better processor and an actual graphics card.

Get an Athlon 750k hd 7770 and an fm2+ mobo. Outperform apu a10-7850 I believe and similar price.

Considering the far better GPU, it will run any game better than the APU alone.

For a bit more, you can get a better CPU.

if you want a good gpu/cpu combo, get a fx 6300 by amd and a gtx 760 if you can. If you want something cheaper, then get the amd fx 6300 along with any gpu you want. Remember, microcenter is giving free motherboards with the cpu as well, so you wont need to buy another motherboard. If you want another motherboard, instead of the free one, they have plenty of combos that can potentially save you alot, so you can spend the extra money getting a better gpu.

Yes, you can get the CPU and motherboard combo I have above for AMD and get the board for free after $10 MIR at Microcenter. There is tax involved, of course, but it should still come out cheaper than above. I wouldn't use the totally free motherboard. The board above is the only "cheap" motherboard I can recommend. You could pocket the savings or maybe use them towards an even better gpu.

Don't believe the hype. The A10-7850 with R7 will play any game out and then some. This is a very nice APU. You can't touch this performance for the money on the INTEL side.

anyone that tells you to get an intel BS CHIP is BSing you. The problem is INTEL does not offer an APU and if they don't change the thinking process they will be clobbered in the years to come. The APU just makes sense and takes out the MB to GPU / CPU bottlenecks.

I am a MCSE and I have been building and testing MB's and Graphics cards for over 15 years.

Pretty bad, I am an MSCA, though I have forgotten pretty much most of what I learned, and I know that much. :p  I got my cert, worked in IT for like 4 months then got called back to my old job as a Metrology tech for a die cast company. Haven't touched a thing in IT since, that I wasn't already doing before I went to school for it.
