Hello,

I have a question.

I am going to run a AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz processor.

I was looking at the Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard

But now I just read the ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 is better for that CPU.

Is the extra money worth it for the 99FX board.

This is a first gaming computer for my 14 year old son but I want it to last him till he goes off to school.

Either should last awhile, might see if there's anything you require on the Sabertooth, but the EVO is more than likely good to meet the needs

I get worried because of all the "You get what you pay for" stuff that I was making a mistake.

I am going with the cheaper board.
