Intel Xeon is a CPU, not a graphics card. The best GPU is the Nvidia GTX 780 Ti.

Yes, the 780TI has a bit of an advantage over the R9 290X sometimes. There is a 6GB version of the TI coming though. The TI has only 3GB RAM which may be an issue with triple displays.

Well, the "best" GPU depends on the purposes you need it for. That being said, the 780 TI is the best ;) . However, if you are using your GPU for intense math stuff such as Bitcoin mining etc. then the GTX Titan has an advantage at the moment. But for the important stuff, gaming, the GTX 780TI is the best card. It is fastest and, even though you aren't worried about price, it isn't too expensive in terms of high-end cards.

EDIT: The Radeon 295 certainly brings something to the table... But that's two graphics cards, so does it count? *philosiraptor*

AMD dog doo? My friend has a GTX 660 SC, and I have an R9 270. I payed $20 less, and I can...

-Overclock much more than he can with his card do pretty much anything better. Which I find to be hilarious, since my card is the direct competitor to the GTX 660 and yet it's cheaper and is just so much superior.
-a much better memory bus 270=256-bit 660=192-bit
-My card has more memory bandwidth
-My card runs much cooler
-My card supports Mantle, which nVidia seems reluctant to even acknowledge existing, even though it basically eliminates CPU bottle-necking entirely
-I still manage to match or crush his performance in all the same games (Skyrim, Borderlands 2, Loadout, TF2), he has never managed to out perform me in games that are more GPU intensive than CPU
-My card is smaller, so it is more compatible with cases of all sizes
-In synthetic benchmarks, which pretty much mean nothing, my card proves to be more powerful in general. To anyone who cares, that's that.
-I can support DirectX 11.2, his card DirectX 11.1

You call AMD "dog doo", but at the mid range they dominate. The power consumption and heat output manage to stay pretty much equal to my friend's nVidia card, and his case has much better cooling than mine does. I'm guessing you're just a fanboy. As of now, the 780ti may be the fastest card, but that doesn't mean AMD is shit. Once the inflated prices fade out, AMD will be best for the price like they always tend to be.

So your comaring last years Nvidia card lineup to the current AMD cr@p? Regardless, its not just about raw fps, but pq, hardware quality, software driver quality etc etc.........Ive had too many AMD and Nvidia products over the years............Nvidia just puts out overall much better products that are built better and polished. AMD=BETA FEEL every time.

Why exactly are you comparing a Nvidia card from 2012, to a current gen AMD card?

The 760 is > R9 270

^ The 760 is also $50 - $70 more expensive...

I'm comparing a card that costs the same. A fair comparison, in my opinion. And it was a real experience, I have a 270 while my friend has a 660. The 270X can compete with a 760, and I OC my 270 to 270X speeds, So I can still compete with a card that retails for about $70 more. My card runs cooler than what nVidia fans like to believe, and honestly the drivers are fine. The ONLY issue I have had with AMD drivers was the beta not working with Minecraft. That was fixed in about a week, and the option to revert is always there. Driver support for AMD is fine, cooling is fine, power consumption in reality will factor in a few cents to the power bill...AMD isn't shit. It works as intended, is better bang for your buck, and has many features of it's own.

Actually, the 660 retails for MORE than a 270. Yet I still have the better card. Oh, and the 270 is a rebadged card. It would be the same thing as comparing the last gen 7870: STILL better.
