My laptop (Lenovo X220) recently stopped being able to connect to any wireless network, but can connect with an ethernet cable. This has happened on multiple networks both secured and unsecured (home, in-law's, hotel, office) and other devises have no trouble connecting.

Any ideas? I'm sure more details are needed and I'm happy to provide them, but have no idea what specifically would help. I've tried searching though prior posts, but couldn't anything helpful.

I'm not entirely sure I understand the question (I don't know what a wireless future is and google was little help), but my computer does detect a number of other wireless networks. Oddly, it doesn't see my home wireless network, which does work and does show up on other computers in the house.

I don't see any yellow signs in the device manager and all the network adaptors (is that what I should be looking at?) say they're working properly.
