If my motherboard supports crossfire does it support SLI too.

Simply no, its the AMD chipset that won't allow you to use SLI.
Its like on the AM3+ socket. The 970 chipsets can only operate on Crossfire. Moving up to 990FX chipsets, it can now support both SLI and Crossfire.
