The GTX690 is based of 2 GTX680/GTX770 on one board. That means its already in SLI.
So quad SLI would be 2 GTX690s in one machine.
So now think quick, the GTX780ti is considerably faster than a GTX770.
4 x GTX 780 ti's areA LOT better than 4 x GTX770s.
Not that I would do either.
