Total: $1092.95

Build was strictly meant for smooth 1080p gaming for at least the next 2-3 years. I chose each component with a lot of time and thought-- I was hoping to get some constructive feedback from you guys as it is my first build.

I chose Asus Z87-Pro for on-board wifi, mostly. It has everything I need so I don't need to spend more than I need to. I would LOVE to get my hands on the GeForce GTX 770, but I think the 760 can pull off ultra 1080p gaming, easy, so I can cut the cost and even splurge for an i5 4670k.

I really appreciate any suggestions/comments about how I can either improve performance or cut costs. Thanks everyone!

Don't forget to pick up an OS if you don't already have one.

Ah, I thought it would be a bit overpriced. I was thinking of Gigabyte z87x-UD3H, but I'm losing the on-board wifi and thus either spend for a wifi adapter or use up a USB slot for an external wifi adapter... which will pretty much balance out costs, I'm thinking.

Thanks shortstuff_mt! What exactly am I compromising by choosing an h87 series?

update: I did some research and found that h87 mobos aren't good for OCs. I'm planning on overclocking mine down the line, so should I invest a little more?

Thanks for your reply bignastyid. If I'm going for a mid-range gaming build, shouldn't I also invest in a good mobo too though?

Thanks for all your help shortstuff_mt. I'll look into Gigabyte, I'm just not a big fan of GB. And I'm not so well-read with z87-hd3.
