Whats the big difference between these 2?

As the title says what is the big differences between these 2 motherboards except that the asus one does not have usb3 that you can connect to the front on your case?

AsRock 970 Pro3 R2.0, AM3+, AMD970, DDR3, ATX

no performance difference, just features really. Just get the board which suits you best, I would prefer the ASRock as it would be cheaper and for what you get, better value as ASRock tend to have better prices.

Supports AM3+ Processor, 8-Core CPU. The ASRock site says that and the 8 core processor the FX 8320.8350 and 9xxx CPU's.

- Support for Socket AM3+ processors
- Support for Socket AM3 processors: AMD Phenom™ II X6 / X4 / X3 / X2 (except 920 / 940) / Athlon II X4 / X3 / X2 / Sempron processors

^^It says that. You see the AM3+, that's the FX processors.

Yea thats what i guessed but on some mobos in the specs it states fx even when its am3+ and 8 cores it should support them .

Like on the asus one it states this

Supports CPU up to 8 cores
Supports CPU up to 140 W

it have the fx listed so was just thinking
