Hey guys,

Looking to possible purchase this YAMAKASI 301 SPARTA 30" LCD S-IPS 2560x1600 monitor. Problem is, I can't find ANY information online. This may be the first time I am unable to really research a product. There really isnt even any forum information on this model.

Can anyone tell me:

Whats the refresh rate at full resolution?
Is it overclockable?
quality?
Whats the difference between the 300 & 301 model?

Anything other than the standard Korean junk would be great!

Solution
I gather that you are a gamer since you intend to over clock the monitor, but it is a rule that you should not use monitors like this with 16:10 aspect ratio because game developers optimize their game appearance for 16:9 monitors like 1080p, 1440p, and even 4k. I used to game on a 16:10 like this one and the picture looked squashed in and stretched vertically, and when I switched to a 1440p monitor the game looked normal and easier to look at. If its any help, I use a Yamakasi Q270 monitor and it came to me with 0 dead pixels, 0 defects, and perfect condition off ebay. Not to mention you will be paying less for 1440p than that beastly 1600p which is not suitable at all for gaming. Any more questions just ask. :)

How much effort did use to gather infos?????

1)Recommended Resolution
2560 x 1600

Refresh Rate
60Hz

Monitor always have same refresh rate at any resolution you choose. But you can change ref rate though.
To over clock monitor?????
Quality: as any S-IPS panel.
difference: use google!!
You could put 5 seconds of your life in use and you will see specification tab. There is refresh rate, and more details...
