OK, simple and straight I connected my external hard drive to my lg smart tv to watch a movie, then I think one of my siblings just had it and started playing around on the smart tv, eventually I went to the tv to realize that it was recording on my hdd, I stopped the recording and deleted the recordings, no problem, I tried going to the folders to watch my movie, kabam, nothing, completely empty, I reconnected and again, nothing, I eventually switched on my laptop, and connected the drive, not knowing what to expect, nothing popped up, went into "this pc" still no drive, I went to device manager and it says the drive is working properly, tried uninstalling drovers ,still nothing , restart, nothing seems to solve it, it lights up normally and windows does the sound when a device is connected, yet still I can't seem to open it, I took it out the case and connected it via sata to a desktop, and still nothing seems to work.
any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

yes I see it, what do I do?

The TV has created 2 partitions - a 112GB JFS volume plus a 49MB Linux Ext volume. I suspect that the recorded TV programs will have overwritten the beginning of the drive. If so, and depending on how much has been overwritten, it could be that the MFT has been damaged, in which case you may need to perform a raw data recovery. That is, you may not be able to recover your original file and folder names.

I would examine the damage with a disc editor (eg DMDE freeware) in readonly mode. In DMDE I would Search for Special Sector -> MFT Record. If you see your file names, then you may be in luck.

Not recorded any program. TV only created 2 partitions (jfs, ext3).

Restart DMDE. Allow it to "Show Partitions". Do you see your old partition information?

If so, then r-click each of the foreign partitions and select "Remove the Partition". This will remove the two entries from the partition table in sector 0.

Now r-click the old NTFS or FAT32 partition and select "Insert the Partition (Undelete)".

Before you do this, I would suggest that you show us the partitions that DMDE finds. We should probably also examine the boot sectors to confirm that we are taking the correct approach.

I do not see the old partition information that was one NTFS partition of 500 GB, but I clicked on the option "NFTS search" and it shows me the following information:
