Hello all,

I almost completed my new build:
Processor: AMD FX 6300.
CPU cooler: Alpenfoehn K2.
Motherboard: Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0.
Internal Memory: G.Skill RipjawsX F3-14900CL8D-8GB.
Monitor: Philips 234E5QHAB.
Case fans: 2X Cooler Master Megaflow Red 200mm.
And maybe a new PSU..

The only thing I am not sure about, is, which GTX 770 I should get.

1. MSI GeForce GTX 770 Gaming,
2. Asus GeForce GTX 770 2GB DirectCU II OC,
3. Gainward GeForce GTX 770 2GB,
4. Gigabyte GV-N770OC-2GD.

I would like to overclock this card, so I don't want a voltage locked card.
And it needs good (and a bit silent) cooling.

Which one has the best cooling and best overclock potential?

Thanks you!

What brand card you like is very much your own opinion, me and my friends have been running MSI cards almost exclusively for a very long time and I've only seen one bad card from them so far (my own 7770), Very Generally, MSI's tend to be the quietest. ASUS cards are heavy and tend to sag or bend after some time but they also generally come with higher clocks, Gigabytes are big and have three fans which is fun.
The MSI Gaming and Lightnings should have unlocked voltage (lightnings I know do for sure), I wouldn't recommend OCing that far on a 770 as they're fairly expensive and should already be fast enough.
Also what do you plan on for a PSU? Make sure you get a good quality unit for your system. And look for an 8320, I got mine for $137 off amazon so it shouldn't cost much more than a 6300. Otherwise a 6300 is fine as well.

If you're going to overclock to the point of adding voltage, you'll want a very silent card to begin with. Because the fans gona have to work hard to keep the temps down.

For me, it's between MSI and Asus.

As for overclocking potential, I don't think any of those card you listed use binned chips that guarantee very high overclocks. So good luck with the silicon lottery.

What about the Gainward? It comes with 3 fans and looks very slick!
And the Gigabyte? Is the WindForcer (also 3 fans) any good?

Thanks!

Gainward don't seem nearly as popular as EVGA, MSI, Asus. I don't know why but there is certainly a reason for it.

And to me Gigabyte cards are trash. I've seen many people here get problems with their Gigabyte cards. But their motherboards are good in my books.
