Trading in my Nvidia GTX 760 for a lower priced AMD

Hey all,

I recently bought a new computer and stuck the Nvidia GTX 760 inside. Now, I'm realizing that I do not need all that power (as I do absolutely no gaming). I watch streaming videos and program and surf the net. I would like a cheaper AMD (the R7 265 just came out), but I would like to eventually setup a crossfire setup (I have 3 monitors) for 6 monitors in the future and eyefinity is very appealing...

Any suggestions moving forward? Thanks in advance!

Well, if you have three monitors that you'd like to use... I'm assuming @ 1080p, then keep the 760. A more powerful graphics card is better for 3 displays, but you probably know that. The lone 760 should be able to run three monitors as long as you're not doing any serious gaming. If you want to do SLI in the future, then you could just get a cheaper graphics card like a 660 that could support the 760.

I just don't think there's really a good reason to get rid of a better card for a worse one when you already have the better one.
