Looking for a GPU for my Acer Aspire AME600-UR378

I've had my PC for a little over a year now & it's been great for me. I've recently gotten more into PC gaming & I'd like to beef up my rig.

I'm not too familiar with the inside workings of a computer, so I don't know what to look for in terms of compatibility. I've been searching for the past week and I cannot find ANY information on what motherboard is in my computer. If anyone could help me out with what GPU's would be compatible with my PC, that would be greatly appreciated.

Also: I know that with a GPU I will have to also purchase an upgraded PSU. I was told PSU's are universal & any would work, but insight on that would be great aswell.

One more thing we need to find out is how much space the case has for GPUs. You could measure yourself or try and google it. Your CPU and RAM are great for gaming, so really, you can get any GPU you want as long as it fits your case and your budget. The Motherboard doesn't matter. Every motherboard that isn't absolutely ancient has PCI Express.

So in summary, find out how much space you have, tell us your budget and you'll be good to go. Since no other parts of your system will be a bottleneck, your rig will be as fast as your GPU.

Thanks for the in-depth response! When I get a chance later I will get the dimensions(at a friend's house right now) & I will work out a budget!
