Hi,
I'm having a problem picking a new 750W psu to replace my standing one. I have an an i5-3330 CPU and am r9 270. I plan on going crossfire in the future, hence the big wattage. I found the Corsair RM750 fitted my needs perfectly ( got allot of Corsair stuff in my build already)... Are there any other modular options which might be cheaper ?? I don't neceserilly need 80+ gold but full modular, or at least semi-modular are a must !

Thnx allot !

dude stop saying super flower is the best quality psu...seriously who's superflower? never heard of them...the best psu maker is seasonic, then XFX which is made by seasonic then corsair like the AX series which is mostly made by seasonic...@afterlife737 corsair RM series like AxlFone said dont have good capacitors

Even if you crossfire your 270, you'll be fine with a good 650W+ PSU.

The R9-270 uses approximately 177W (15A on the 12V rail), so two will consume around twice 354W (30A). The rest of your system will use in most cases up to 150W (13A, but usually far less) depending on your CPU, and if you OC anything, depending on your CPU you're looking at another 150-200W cushion.

750W is good if you're a big overclocker with those GPUS and any CPU. Otherwise, you can get away with a good 600 or 650W supply with that setup. Key words are "good supply".

If you're not OC'ing, you'll probably use a max of around 520W with any available processor on the market. Overclocking, build in a 200W+ cushion.

A Seasonic SSR 650 will be a great supply for that setup:

Seasonic is among the top manufacturers of PSUs in the world. That supply, in particular, has a 5-year warranty, it's modular, and $100.

SuperFlower really is one of the top manufacturers. Flextronics is another. I would even trust most high-end Channel Well supplies as my TX950 (now in someone else's PC) was among the top reviewed on Jonnyguru.

Why I need to stop say something? If that is true?

Read and learn. http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=367

Rosewill cappstone and lightnin is made by superflower.

Find one bad review of super flower or rosewill cappstone / lightning?

I do not stop anything. If you do not like what I do say. It is really not my problem? Or is it? :D lol

To be honest... I looked for aesthetics to.. I mean - I have a windowed case and the RM750 looks the best out of all I've seen. Plus my case (Corsair 350D) has ALLOT of open vents (on top etc..) so it's pretty loud and since the RM750 has zero fan mode at under 40% loads, that sounded perfect for my use situation.. So I think I should re-orientate my question - Is the RM750 THAT bad ?? I'm a general gamer and an occasional video editor...

hahahhaha :) like you said you dont need to stop saying anything but i am just stating the fact that superflower (funny name for a psu maker) is not the best psu maker...seasonic is the best of the best and please ask people about seasonic or superflower lets see who knows seasonic and who knows superflower but anyways not arguing just laying the facts on the table :)
