I had a CPU Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.50GHz, socket 775 LGA, technology 45nm, Now I'm using a Motherboad Opitlex 960 mini tower core 2 duo 3.0GHz, DDR 3. Can I upgrade my CPU on my motherboad Optiplex 960 mini tower ?
I think that, It's OK, because it has the same socket 775. I want to make sure before, when I do it..? Please give me some advice ! Thanks

Intel Core 2 Quad support shows the Q9400/2.66 is X out, as if it will not support it.
Intel Core 2 Quad support shows the Q9550/ 2.83 should support it, But I just bought 1 and the Mother board says it is Unsupported. and Does Not Work!
Intel Core 2 Quad support shows the Q9650/3.00 should support it, But if it does not support the Q9550, I do not think the Q9650 will work.
