There's a few curiosities you might want to consider.

Ultimately, it's very expensive for what it is.
A $1350 gaming machine should be a lot stronger, and a $1500 gaming machine would be in another league.

You have a very expensive motherboard. It has some features which may appeal, but it's really dependant on your usage. You can pick up a Z87 motherboard for nearly half the price, and given you don't have an overclockable processor, you could easily drop to H81/B85/H87 as applicable (massive savings).

For gaming, 16Gb of memory is likely to be more than you need. Similarly a 250Gb SSD is nice to have, but a pretty huge capacity for high-performance storage.

If you aren't overclocking, then you don't really need a CPU cooler.

The PSU is very nice but pretty huge overkill for the system as it stands.

EDIT - I don't really know quite what you are pushing for here, but as a rough example of what $1500 can buy you -
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2SCNX it keeps a lot of the components you picked, but focuses it a bit more. You can easily cut down the graphics as required.
