First Thread!
I Have a really Old Motherboard which doesn't support ddr3 memory.
So I have decided to buy a new one but i am in a dilemma if i could Put my old Processor into the new Motherboard.
I Just wanted to know if This is Possible and if yes which motherboard should i buy(under Rs. 5000 or $75)??
My Present Motherboard(old):

Processor: Intel Pentium Dual Core E2200

Solution
Ram upgrade gives the least speed increase basically hardly noticeable. CPU upgrade will give one and in gaming GPU upgrade. Problem is your CPU will bottleneck even cards like HD7750 which will run on a modern 300watt CPU. Your board supports much faster c2d CPU's like E7x00 or E8x00 wolfdale CPU's so one of those with a HD7750 would be a much better upgrade if you can pick one up used.
It is an old socket LGA775 which is no longer in retail and has been replaced by first LGA1156 then LGA1155 and now LGA1150 which none of support your CPU. So if changing motherboard I suggest new CPU as well since no point to upgrade board just for DDR3 support.

Any intel cpu and mobo in that range??.....
Also i recently came across INTEL DH61HO Mobo while surfing internet,i read that it is compatible with Intel Pentium Processors... Does that mean even my processor can fit into it??

Actually i was doing all this to give my pc a new burst of speed and life without spending a Lot of money!
Would gaming be a problem on my old mobo and processor??
I'm thinking of buying either
Hd77750 or hd7770(with a psu)
Would these gpu bottleneck my cpu??
If Yes then i guess i'll have to change my processor which means i'll have to change my mobo......which means i'll have to spend a lot more money than i expected!!
