Hello I'm looking to upgrade my PSU my stock one is lacking I have a Dell dimension 530s desktop it has a dual core duo E4500 CPU with 2.2ghz, 4gb of DDR2 ram, CD-R/CD-RW, one 500gb SATA hard drive stock, a stock motherboard, a EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320mb graphics card, and 2 fans the one that comes on the GPU and one for the processor and I assume there is one in the PSU as well. So I just need to know if the Corsair CX500 is enough to power all this properly I'm not doing anything extreme just playing a few games nothing new. I would appreciate any help I'm fairly new to this thanks.

TO be honest you'd be good with a 350watt or even a 300watt so yes the CX500 is going to be MORE than enough and allow you to upgrade your graphics card later aswell...

Yes it will but you can even save more and get a 450w one instead.
Hope that helps
