Hi, I have pre-ordered the Sapphire Toxic R9 280X from Ebuyer, and I was just wondering whether my current motherboard, ASUS P8H61-MX R2.0, would bottleneck a Sapphire Toxic R9 280X?

Thanks,
SmelliotButton

Other info: I have recently moved from Xbox 360 to PC. Before I moved, I bought a pre-built PC from Zoostorm, only for doing day-to-day tasks, so that is why I have that motherboard!

Its not the motherboard. The CPU determines whether it will bottleneck a graphics card. What is your processor?

Then you will do just fine with the 280X. Nice setup.

Great, thanks for your quick response, I had to ask this question because one of my friends kept moaning at me about how my motherboard would bottleneck my graphics card, but I wasn't sure whether to believe him or not, so I wanted to be sure!
