will these ssd work in my laptop

hello all ,I've asked a previous question about this but asked it the wrong way , i was wondering if i put a corsair 240GB force LS series or a Samsung 250G EVO ssd into my Toshiba satellite A-500 would the ssd fit and work correct for that model of laptop , any advice would appreciated as i don't like to waste money , thanks

They will physically connect to the laptop, but both hard drives are smaller than the typical laptop hard drive (9.5mm vs. 7mm). You may need a special caddy that will make up that difference.
