If I got a new GPU and a new PSU, Would I need to get a new CPU?

The GPU I'm thinking of getting is a GTX 780 3GB and I'm not exactly sure of which PSU I will get, but I'm looking at this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438005&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-Power%20Supplies-_-EVGA-_-17438005&cm_sp=&AID=10440897&PID=3938566&SID=
I might end up upgrading the thing anyway, I have an i3, and it's not exactly good for gaming.

I recommend you look at the Intel i5-3350P. It would be a marked upgrade from your current CPU, and is one of the best in its price range.

You would definitely not need to, but you might want to. Even though you would be able to play a lot games without a problem using the i3, you won't be able to take full advantage of your fancy new GPU in all applications. If you can, get an i5. What's your current motherboard?

I hope that helps!
