Hi, I'm wondering if this $400 budget PC would be able to play Battlefield 4 in a steady 50-60fps on medium/high settings. Also am I missing any essential parts on this build? Example: Can I boot up Windows 7 with monitor display without any problems? Will the computer overheat if I don't get something?

Notes:
- I have Windows 7 key/disk already
- I have a monitor
- Got a harddrive

Unfortunately it will not, It might work well on Low. If you were going to change anything, Change the Video Card. BF4 is GPU intensive, The GPU is almost all that matters.

Yeah as TheTechGamer says your GPU is a bit too weak to run BF4 well at higher settings. It might run low settings acceptably however. Perhaps spend a little more on the GPU and maybe a better processor and you will be able to run the game at good settings.

at what resolution? i at 1080p then no not even close. Your gpu is really bad. By the way, here's one i made which will be $430 USD (including shipping)

This build should be able to run BF4 in medium/high easily near 60 fps.

Btw you will always want dual channel ram. 1333 dual channel ram > 1600 single channel ram for game perforemance

I made a few changes to the build and added a better CPU and dual channel 1600MHz ram which also matches motherboard colour scheme.

Try this one,
I set up a build for you,

Without Dedicated Graphics card: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2SONe
(This APU is beast, its the new Kaveri based APU, It can run BF4 High at 30FPS WITH NO VIDEO CARD!!)

With Dedicated Graphics Card: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2SP0j
(Is cheaper and good enough to run bf4 on high at 20FPS)
