Hello, I have a Cisco VPN client installed on my computer. It auto-populates the "Connect to" field with just garbage. Im sick of that and I want it to populate with the connection I used last... This is driving me INSANE!!!!!!! Every VPN client in the world that ive configured has auto-populated the "Connect To" field with the last successful connection. why doesnt mine!!!! Ive tried re-installing and deleting the folder with no luck. the setting is saved somewhere in the registry and i dont know where! this is a total nightmare.

Can anyone tell me where to find the config file or registry key that keeps entering this damn sslvpn.asu.edu address? its driving me crazy!!!!

ya sorry the "garbage" is the "sslvpn.asu.edu" address i gave. the IP im connecting too is definitely not resolving to an asu domain (asu is where I used to work). I think it it was configured there, but shouldn't a re-install wipe all those settings? I re-installed it with a vpn client that I got from my new work and its still grabbing configuration settings from asu... its so weird

Got it!!! They embedded a stupid preference file in my user profile! I deleted that and it got fixed. Someone thanks for the help, that article got me thinking in the right direction. location of the preference file was "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client"
