I have decided to build a gaming pc over the PS4. I've spent hours on building this and I am literally maxed on money. I was looking for advice and criticism to this build and if there is any unnecessary and or cheaper alternatives that will not effect the performance. Looking to run games such as Bf4 on high with playable fps. I also wanted to know if micro atx motherboard was a possibility and if there was a cheaper alternative to my ram as well. (DVD drive and windows already bought BTW)

it is a revision of your build, with better price/performance parts selection

at that budget. 8320 is not viable, so you should go for FX 6300
2x 4GB ram, not 1x 8GB
HDD caviar blue, not black
microATX isnt available for AM3+
cheaper case
new gen Radeon 270X (upcoming games will use its mantle technology)
better PSU, never cheap out on this thing. cheap psu can fry all your cpu, mobo, hdd altogether

anyway, good luck :)

The 7870 and other similar AMD cards are all sold out right now, and wonky :( But the 760 is a great card. The 8320 would be a good upgrade in the future, but the 4300 allows for the better GPU, and is good enough for BF4, which utilizes 4 cores.

Drop your HDD from a Black to a Blue series, will save you about $25-$30, use that savings to buy a real power supply. Get something from Seasonic, XFX, Corsair or Antec. Also, I hope you noticed the red warning concerning your build, it's possible that the motherboard you buy/get will not support your CPU without having its BIOS updated and to update BIOS you would need a working CPU. Additionally, if you plan to overclock your CPU, you will need to purchase an aftermarket cooler.

Ok thanks, I was wondering if theres a difference between the 2x4gbs and the 1x8gbs in preformance. If not then ill just keep the 1x8 as its the same price as the 2x4 and its already bundled with my selected gpu. And speaking of gpu the radeon you recommeded is sold out.

Thanks for the lookout. I seen it and was going to ask about it. I am going to switch to blue though and took the recommendation on a better psu.
