Windos 8.1 DNS issues

Hi, So just as of two days ago for some reason my internet (wifi) hasn't been working properly and sometimes isn't working at all but it is only happening on my laptop. Every time I do the trouble shoot it comes up with , 'Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding.'

I've tried doing a system restore to before it happened and that didn't work. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

-My laptop is a Lenovo Y510P
-My internet provider is Comcast, and the router is Arris - Model #TG862G/CT.
-Windows defender is my anti virus.
