I can't seem to be able to find where the ink levels are on my new Windows 7 computer. I have both HP photosmart 6280 and HP All in One CM 2320 Laser Jet.
I've looked in the preferences and properties of both printers and can't find any info.

Solution
usually it is in the Supply tab or something like that.

Also, did you install the software that came with the devices? If not, then download the full software packages for your devices.

You probably only have the driver installed, and not the additional software needed.

Control Panel\Devices and Printers/{hp photosmart 6280}
right-click on the printer in the "devices and printers" off the control panel.
choose printing "preferences"
click the "maintenance" tab--perhaps there's a view ink detail button there
There should be an HP folder off the start menu, which, if you click, might have a (photosmart) application that has options you can set "to open the program when windows starts up"....then a little box might be there, near the clock, to show you a real-time ink-level display.
