Hi all,
Recently I bought a refurbished EVGA GTX 770 SC with ACX cooling from EVGA B-Stock. It runs great, only problem, I think it is running a little bit hot.
Under load (BF4, ultra) the temperature of the GPU is 80 degrees C constantly. This is at stock speeds. I read that up to 95 degrees is ok for this card, but I would like it to last a while and also make sure that this is not higher than normal.
Also, I am using a Rosewill challenger case, with 3 fans, exhaust in the back and top, and an intake in the front.
I am thinking about adding an intake side fan (only can add one towards the bottom with my 212 EVO). Do you guys have any recommendations for quiet fans which are good for cooling (LED not wanted). This needs to be a 120mm fan.
Lastly, I was reading that reapplying the thermal paste could also be an option, but not to expect more than 5 degrees C. Already, applying thermal past to my CPU made me nervous, so I would rather not go this route, but if the gains would be good, then I might.
Thanks for the help.
