Windows Assigning Static IP

For some reason, at seemingly random times, Windows switches itself from a dynamic IP to a static IP.

I will be connected to a network with a dynamic IP address from the router and, after varying amounts of time, Windows will switch itself over to a static IP. The IP address it assigns is the same every time. It is the IP I had set before I set up DHCP reservation on my router.

None of the other network adapters have this IP and it's not set as my alternate configuration. I also cleared the ARP table but that didn't fix it. I'm not sure where it's getting this IP from or why Windows keeps switching itself over to a static IP.

I have an Asus Q400a (running Windows 7) with a Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 wireless adapter. I have the latest drivers from Intel's website.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks!

Sorry, I guess I'm not explaining this very well.
When I connect to a wireless network the router does assign an ip to my computer. However, after varying amounts of time, Windows will set itself to a static ip and fill in an ip address and subnet mask (although no default gateway).
The static ip option is actually being set in my wireless adapter properties by Windows. This happens regardless of what network I'm connected to.
To temporarily fix it I have to go to my wireless adapter properties and set it back to Obtain an ip address Automatically.
