Computer won't POST

Hi,after my computer froze and i had to force shutdown,it turned back on and froze once again.After shutting it back down again,now it wont POST it turns on and shows a black screen,i cleared the cmos and did the normal procedure but it still turns on but doesn't post,thanks in advance

normal debugging is to pull parts until the machine posts. Example, start by pulling video. Does the PC beep the nno video code? yes -- Then likely something wrong with video. no-- leave video out and pull memory. does the PC post now and beep no memory? yes - suspect memory, no pull somethign else. eventually you get down to MB, PSU and CPU. Then swap PSU first, then MB.

edit: it's not uncommon to have the PC post when you pull a part, then still post when you put the same part back in. I've had this happen with both a sata disk and a wireless network card. Memory does this a lot. Sometime re-seating the connector is all that is needed to get things working.
