First off i'll give my computers specs:
500-189 HP Pavilion Desktop PC
- AMD A10 6800K (Richland) Quad Core Processor with AMD Radeon HD 8670D Graphics
- Radeon HD 8570
- Other Info:
- 10GB Ram
- MSI-7778 Mobo

-------------------------------------------------

So my graphics uses Radeon Dual Graphics (Exactly What it says on Dxdiag: AMD Radeon HD 8670 + 8670D Dual Graphics). On the motherboard there is a DVI and VGA Output, on my graphics card there is a HDMI and DVI output.

-------------------------------------------------

My first question is, can i do a dual monitor setup where i use DVI (graphics card) for my first screen (1600x900 Resolution) and a VGA (motherboard) for my second screen (1024x768 Resolution). And still use my Radeon Dual Graphics.

OR...

Again still using the Radeon Dual Graphics, can i have both screens connected to my mother and not the graphicsa card.

-------------------------------------------------

And my second question is, if i can use Radeon Dual graphics and have a dual montior will one of displays look weird because one screen is bigger than the other. I will still want to use 1600x900, so will the 1024x768 screen look weird.

-------------------------------------------------

This is my first time trying to a dual monitor setup so, thanks you very much in advanced,
Harry

Solution
Yes the dual monitor setup will work. And the second screen will not look weird if its larger.not sure about the resolution though, you should try first with different resolutions and if it doesnt work then you will have to lower the resolution of the 1600x900 screen to 1024x768.Good luck :)

Does the 1024x768 monitor only have vga? You should plug both monitors through the dedicated gpu. If it hasn't got a vga output you can buy vga-dvi or vga-hdmi adapters.

On the second question i currently run 2 monitors (one 24" 1080p and one 19" 1600x900) and it looks fine. You can change the res on both screens through the control panel or display panel!

So, will a dual monitor setup where i use DVI (from the graphics card) for my first screen (1600x900 Resolution) and a VGA (motherboard for output) for my second screen (1024x768 Resolution)? And still use my Radeon Dual Graphics.

I can only use VGA for my second screen and DVI for my first.

And if that works, do i need to set anything in the bios or the computer for both monitors to work or just plug it in and use it.

better off getting an adapter and run both screens of the dedicated gpu. It won't disbale you dual graphics

So will that work? I just want to be very sure before I try this.
Having one screen on motherboard and one screen on graphics card will work, without disabling my dual graphics.
