Graphics card 2gb or 4gb for gaming

Do going to get GeForce GTX 770 but do i get 2gb or 4gb for gaming i currently have
Intel Core i5-3330.2GHz
8GB DDR3
Motherboard

8H61-MX USB3
i heard BF4 using 3gb, it is worth going 4gb or just go for 2gb.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you're gaming at 1080p 2gb, no need to go for more at all. If you're doing 3 monitor setup or 1440p then go for the 4gb.

I would choose the 4GB version

No, I dont feel the need to use crap like AA and whatnot at this res, also I'm using high I think, whatever the preset below ultra is.

Keep in mind that this is 770 - it is almost 2 times weaker than 780 ti.
I doubt that GPU core will not allow resolutions and quality settings that require 4G memory.
There is a reason why a lot of 770's are 2G, while most 780's are 3G. Video card designers are not stupid.

Have you considered the ATi R9 280x 3Gb???? VERY similar performace to the 770 and has 3Gb of RAM. This I think is the sweet spot for Vram at the mo on a high end single GPU. This would be my choice!!!!

Thats why you use less VRAM then, I think AA is still needed at 1440, though not as much as needed at 1080

At 1440p aa is almost a useless filter. Especially at 1600 its completely useless.

Just for reference, with a fully HD modded Skyrim and modified shadows, water and lighting I use just over 2Gb of vram at 1080.

By removing one of the extra mods over the HD it drops below 2. For 1080 2-3Gb is great, anything above that needs 3-4Gb

I recommed u to get 4gb. Though bf4 uses 3gb but it is always better to think for the future.The future games like gta5, skyrim etc. all needs high graphics for which u need a higher capacity.now itneeds 3gb, in future some other games may require 4gb. In my opinion get a 4gb graphic card.
