I want to buy a Galaxy GTX 780 GC...but i don't know all the extra things I'm gonna have to get (new Mobo, PSU, etc) so it would be nice if someone could point me in the right direction since I did not build the PC i currently own.

My current setup is :-
a GTX 660 (non Ti)
an Intel i5 3570
a Corsair Vengeance 1x8 gb DDR3 Ram
a WD Blue 1 TB Hard Drive
a Gigabyte B75M-D3H mobo
VIP Gold 500w PSU
Windows 8 64-bit
Also I will be buying the Benq XL2420T monitor with the 780.

Note: I DO NOT plan to overclock anything.

The 780 is roughly 1 inch longer than a 660 . Yea the 600w corsair will be fine. if its short term the 500w should be allright too, the 780 it just pushing the limits. Im pretty sure those cars pull around 250-275 watts by themselves. The only thing i would really stress on is another ram stick. Dual channel is far superior to single channel. The i5 was designed to run dual channel.

pretty much could drop the 780 in now and you would see a good improvement. RAM will speed up the general running of your cimputer though, money well spent.

The only thing i can think of is another stick of RAM (around 15% performance increase in memory intense programs, the i5 runs best in dual channel!) and a new psu. Go for a 650W corsair or similar reputable brand, i have seen a couple of down reviews on VIP 500w gold/platinum models. I wouldn't trust a 780 with an average 500w PSU- would work but is cutting it thin, if it is certified 80+ i wuld give it a go.

I forgot to mention that I am on a budget and so I don't need high-end components as of right now. Will upgrade later one by one.

Would a Corsair CX600V2 PSU work?
Also is the 780 about the same size of my 660 or am I gonna need a new case?
