I'm playing on max 1080p and the first mission runs smoothly, but during the second the game crashes every couple minutes -- usually not long enough to get to a new checkpoint. It seems like a number of people have had this issue with Crysis 3, but I can't find any solutions. I haven't had this problem with any other games. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate, the above GPU, i5-3570k, 16 GB DDR3 1600, Samsung 840 250GB, and HX 750.

Had the same problem. But was crashing regardless the mission I was playing. The problem was with the CPU overclock rather than the graphics. I had it clocked to 3.465GHz or so using 105x33. It seems like Crysis 3 is very sensible to coreclock changes cuz as soon as I dropped the clock to standard 100 it stopped crashing. I am only using the multiplier now to OC when I play Crysis 3. Hope it helps.
