Hey guys! I updated a day ago, and since then my cpu is stuck at 100 % usage, it won't go down. I have Net Protector Anti virus. And a new update of 500 MB is available, should I update ? Would that solve the problem? My PC isn't sluggish or slow even the CPU is at 100 %. It works just as fine as it used to work before the update.
Any answer would be appreciated.!

You won't need antivirus software with Windows. Just keep a good regimen of which sites you decide to visit/download from. You'll learn safe browsing behavior and ascend using antivirus in the first place.

As a plus, Windows Defender does all you could expect any other antivirus to do and it is made by the same people that made the operating system so you would assume it knows how to get the job done.

My best advice my good sir, is to lay off the porn for a bit. :)

I had a simialr problem with a bitcoin mining virus that suddenly locked my gpu to 100% usage, and a trojan that did the same to my cpu. Try downloading Malwarebytes anti-malware and rogue-killer x64, they have helped me tremendously.

Sorry i can;t help more, but its worth a try.

Lol nice one! Though i have run windows defender in the past, i find rogue killer and malwarebytes to pick up a lot more than defender. When i had the bitcoin virus, avast, defender and a couple of other programs i found were oblivious to it but good old rogue killer was the go. Right on though, if you keep a good eye on what you are doing you should be fine. Always good to feel safe though.
