I know that I want to get a SSD and I have already had the community help me find the one that I want. The main reason that I want one is because I want to be able to open a large game really quickly etc. etc. but people keep asking me if I want to put the OS on to the SSD and I know it would mean faster boot time, but would it make a difference anywhere else? To be honest, whenever I turn on my computer I normally press the power button then go make a sandwich before I come back to the computer, so a fast boot time really isn't a big deal to me, but I love the SSD on my MBPr for opening applications and saving items very quickly.
