Yea, I have two 1920x1080 screens and I would like to play TES:V Skyrim on Ultra High settings with HD mods. So, is the GTX 770 good enough? (Or do I need to buy GTX 780?)

Solution
Just a quick input.

Dont play games using 2 screens unless they are designed to, or the game is (Total Annihilation im looking at you)

The central point of the screen will be the divide, and it will be a horrible gaming experience. Go for 1 or 3 monitors for gaming.

If you are wondering if your 770 can run Skyrim on 1 with maxed settings and HD mods while running other things on the other monitor, yes that will be plenty, my 670 can do that :)

Hope that helps.

RE inzone and the vram.

Running a fully HD modded skyrim with water and a few other mods I use over 2GB of Vram, and that is on only 1 monitor at 1080 with the other running films or a web browser. So you need to make sure the 770 that you buy has 4Gb of vram.

So, is Asus GTX770-DC2OC NVIDIA GeForce GTX770 2048 MB.enough or do i need to get the 4gb version? And yes I am playing on a single monitor and having other stuff on my second screen. And I prefer having someones livestream on my other screen.

Personally, i would go for more if possible.

The other option would be to look at the similarly performing and similarly priced 280x which comes with 3Gb as standard. Get one that is a non reference cooler or you will experience thermal throttling.

Its tough because its so close performance and cost wise, but we dont know how much the new gen games coming out will need at their highest settings.

Now, I am thinking which one to get GTX 780 3gb or GTX 760 2gb 2-way SLI(After doing some research.) 'Cause my budget is about 500e

In my opinion, always go for the stronger single GPU, instead of using 2 less stronger cards in SLI.
SLI has alot of problems that can occur, and the 780 is more than enough to supply 2 screens and Ultra-resolution gaming. Actually the 780 is a beast of a card. Plus, 3 GB of VRAM should be enough.

I would agree with AgentTran. There is a good comparison here http://www.ocaholic.ch/modules/smartsection/item.php?itemid=1168&page=8

With dual 760s you will have much more heat to dissipate, have a much larger power draw from the PSU and sometimes run into problems with Drivers on newer games, ie micro stutter, no SLI support so only 1 card gets used, etc.

Also remember that having 2 760s with 2Gb of Vram does not mean you have 4Gb of Vram, you still have 2Gb, they will both hold the same data. But running a single 780 you will have the 3Gb.

I personally favour the 780 to 760 sli. And you can always get a second 780 later ;)
