cant boot up my pc

Recently i build my new pc.
PC SPECS:
MOTHERBOARD, MSI 970A G43 AM3+
CPU, AMD FX-6300 3.5 GHZ
VGA:MSI R9-270X HAWK EDITION
RAM:2X4 GBS CRUCIAL BALLISTIC SPORT X 1866 MHZ
500GB HDD
500 WATT PSU WITH EVERY CONNECTOR I NEED FOR MY PC BUILD.
DVD WRITTER.
So the problem is that when i booted up my pc with those module memories the bios didnt boot and the monitor was displaying nothing.Every time i boot up my pc with different modules (1x2gb corsair dd3 1300 mhz)it is starting up normally. So what do you think? Pls reply i need a solution fast... :(

  1. 2 things:
    1. Your ballistic sport memory modules may not be compatible with your current motherboard.
    2. The timings on it may not be set properly for your motherboard.

  2. with the old ram that works check the bios rev of the mb if it old it may need to be updated to run the newer ram.
  3. Quarkzquarkz, why it could be possible to be non compattible memories? my mobo supports dd3 memories and with timing much better than mine's.

    Try pulling the old sticks, reset the CMOS and then install the new in the proper solts and give it a try

  8. what is CMOS? finally i found from where the problem starts i use both ballistic x 4 gigs modular memories and my 2 gigs old one...and tara my pc booted up...when i search for my proccesing memory clock it says that its clocked in 1333 mhz allthough i have 2 4 gigs with 1888 mhz so i finally end up with the though that i need bios update...thank you for informing me that way... so anyone can link me with my mobo drivers for my memories? my mobo is list on the top of the discussion..
