Hi guys, I own a Dell Studio XPS 9100 which runs on Windows 7(ship date Sept 2010)

**History:**

1.The problems started when I booted Hearthstone while watching a stream, resulting in a gray screen which was corrected ~3s later.

2.The next day, 6 mins into my first League of Legends game, the screen goes gray again, this time requiring a forced restart to resolve.

3.Since then, I've encountered Gray screens with vertical lines + garbled Dell logo on startup(which would sometimes stall entirely followed by my monitor shutting down). When it does get into Windows, the screen goes gray and stalls after ~15mins of web browsing.

4.After some searching, I'm thinking it might be a graphics card issue(mine's ATI Radeon 5670). Checking Device Manager showed that its driver reverted to a 2010 version(previously had a more recent version installed). Also unable to access Catalyst Control Centre(not found error). Downloaded the latest version of CCC, tried installing, screen resolution swaps to a lower one halfway through, screen shuts down, followed by the entire unit. Still unable to start CCC, having gray screen/garbled startups, gray screen after X minutes, etc.

Should I just replace my graphics card? Is there an alternative solution? Any help is appreciated.

I don't really get much of it though, just that it's a hardware error.
