LOOKING FOR A LOW BUDGET MOTHERBOARD, AROUND $100-$120 THE MOST. I CHECKED OUT GIGABYTE BRAND, SEEMS LIKE A SMART CHOICE. IT SHOULD BE A mATX SINCE THE DEIMENSIONS ARE: 9.6" X 9.6". LOOKING FOR 3.0 USB, AMD FOR MY VIDEO CONVERTERS,
QUALITY OVERALL.

I'm not sure you can hit the 100-120 mark without living near a micro center. Essentially what you are looking to do is upgrade your motherboard and take advantage of something from AMD I take it perhaps a card from them. What you may want to do if you aren't really gaming and are just looking for a general solution with a decent graphics solution you may want to look towards a APU+MOBO. Mainly because you will spend 100 on the motherboard and you would spend about a 100-200 on a CPU. So if you don't live near a micro center you may want to wait or even see if you can possibly pick up a decent setup on ebay or something at your own risk.

That's my intention, to get everything all together the 3.0, hdmi (if possible), and a durable motherboard. Perhaps I should get a mobo+cpu (apu) bundle at micro center. Either one is virtually free...not much to think about? right
Any insight?

If you live near a micro center then certainly. Micro Center deals only apply to in store purchases not online purchases so you would need to walk in to do it or order online to pick up in store. If all you are doing is changing CPU/MOBO a APU could be the way to go unless you are looking to purchase a Graphics Card in the future.

I had a mATX motherboard DDR3... now I have a DDR4 motherboard, Ryzen cpu, better cards... a full tower because it gives you options and more room and ease of use, thus providing you with more possibilities instead of limited ones... First figure out what you'll be doing with or intend to do... there's a variety of upgrade choices because you know if you have something recent you are investing in value that you solely researched by looking at the components as if it were a bundle... sometimes the option is not your top pick, just keep looking.... pcpartpicker is a website that can help you with compatibility. It is worth it... just don't rush look out for deals... SSD's are hot now, that doesn't mean HDD's aren't... price and capacity matter... I found an external hard drive with 4TB under $100...
