asus p5kc crossfire without the bridge

i have an asus p5kc mobo, and im trying to crossfire 2 hd6670. ive spoken to amd and they say it is possible to crossfire the cards via the pcie slots but dont know how to because i have to enable them in the bios of my mobo. so told me to ring asus up. i rang asus up and the guy i spoke to said its possible to do it but wasnt sure if my mobo could or how to do it as hes never done it himself. so for the last time i hope 1 of you can help me becase its giving me a big headache and im on the verge of just selling the cards and seeing what i can buy instead.

i might sound a bit thick but im pretty new to this and im learning as i go, but im not sure. when i run cpuz it shows in that and in my system info.
